As usual, the smartphones in this price bracket (Best Smartphones Under 40000 in Nepal) that I would gladly choose are from Xiaomi, realme, Samsung and now finally Poco has joined in. This price segment targets the upper mid-range consumers who prefer the best features that fall behind only slightly as compared to the flagships.
Let us look at the Pros and Cons of each smartphone to help you ease up on your decision. The order in which I have listed the smartphones do not determine which is better so, you can choose any from this list of Best Smartphones Under 40000 in Nepal as per your need.
Best Smartphones Under 40000 in Nepal
Samsung Galaxy M31
Personally, I wouldn’t recommend this phone and rather ask you to look for Samsung smartphones under the NPR 30000 bracket which offer pretty much similar features as this one. But, if you are over the budget of NPR 30k and would only settle for a Samsung smartphone, this is the best choice in the market right now. Decent Exynos processor, AMOLED display, 64MP sensor and 6000mAh battery are some of its notable features.

Samsung Galaxy M51
I think we all know how much of a relief it is to see a Snapdragon processor as good as this in a mid-ranger from Samsung in Nepal after being fed up with the Exynos 9611. It is the same processor found in Poco X2 and the much expensive Samsung A71. Good chipset and great cameras aside, the biggest selling point here is obviously that massive 7000mAh battery which Samsung has managed to provide while keeping the weight of the phone at an acceptable 213g.

Vivo S20 FE
Like other Vivo smartphones, the processor is obviously not suited for a phone of this price range but, it is still more than enough for casual usage. The 8GB memory and 128GB storage + micro-SD card slot will fully suffice for multitasking and media storage. Rear-camera is okay but the selfie camera is quite good. In the end, the best selling point of this smartphone is its design and lightweight. Thus, this is a smartphone geared towards casual users who give more importance to fashion.

Realme 7
With Realme 6 being out of stock, this is the one to go for but many people are kind of disappointed by the pricing. It is probably due to a single high-end variant being launched. But still, many people will choose this over Redmi Note 9 Pro Max for its gaming chipset and 90Hz refresh rate.

With a minimalist design, a gaming processor, a great battery backup, and a versatile camera system, one cannot go wrong while purchasing Redmi Note 9 Pro Max If not having a higher refresh rate and AMOLED panel is not a deal-breaker for you, I highly recommend this device to everyone looking for a mid-ranger in the market.

OnePlus Nord N10 5G
Being the cheapest 5G offering from OnePlus, this doesn’t belong to their premium family as it has plastic back and framing with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The chipset is not the best for this price but it does offer 5G which isn’t available on any other smartphone in this list. OnePlus also opted for a 90Hz refresh rate without an AMOLED panel which I ain’t going to complain about. It does have to separate its mid-range product with high-end ones after all. Remaining specs are quite decent except the pricing could have been better than this when compared to India.

Poco X3
Poco X3 is obviously the king this price range with the only downside being the lack of an AMOLED display but I am sure you won’t see anyone complaining about it. You already know why, don’t you ? Great gaming chipset, great versatile cameras, big battery and fast charging and especially that 120Hz refresh rate. What else would you want ?
