Vivo V20 SE is launched in Nepal with aggressive pricing, compared to what the phone offers. The special edition is not so special, but a toned-down version of Vivo V20. With the launch of the phone, the company is seeking attention in it’s V line-up. So, what is the areas in that Vivo has cut corners on this device, compared to V20? Vivo V20 SE has exactly the same weight as V20, i.e. 171g. We get a plastic back, with plastic frame. Around the camera module, light seems to diverge in an interesting manner. With a glossy back, we tend to get fingerprint smudges much quicker as well. We get two color options, Gravity Black and Oxygen Blue
One of the highlighting feature of the device is it’s display. It is 6.44 inches FHD+ 1080 x 2400 pixels AMOLED screen. The display has good contrast and viewing angles.
For the performance, we get Qualcomm Snapdragon 665, which is a really disappointing choice from the company, considering the price of the phone. But, we’re used to saying this in their V-lineup every year. There is Adreno 610 GPU for graphics processing as well. We get 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage on the phone.
The back camera module holds a triple camera array with 48MP+8MP(ultra-wide)+2MP(depth) sensors. For selfie, there is a 32 MP, f/2.0 camera on U-style notch up at the front.
The battery on the phone is rather small, at 4100mAh battery. There is support for 33W USB-C fast charging as well. This should charge your battery up to 62% in 30 min (as advertised). There is an optical fingerprint scanner at the front of the phone. The phone runs on Android 10 with Funtouch 11 as it’s skin.
