Overview
Design & Display
The design isn’t changed much. It has same plastic back with textured finish. This reduces visible fingerprint smudges to a greater extent. However, the color option of Ocean Blue of Note 10s doesn’t look that impressive at all, compared to Lake Green of Note 10. It comes in two other colors as well, Onyx Gray and Pebble White. The device weighs just 178.8 grams.
Talking about the display, the device features a 6.43″ FHD+ AMOLED DotDisplay with 60Hz refresh rate. The display can go up to 1100nits brightness. So, it is the same display used in Note 10 for sure. It has got punchy colors and good contrast along with impressive brightness for a phone of this price. It is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection against minor scratches and drops. But, you should probably put on a screen protector as well.
Camera & Performance
In terms of camera, there is a noticeable upgrade in primary sensor. Redmi Note 10s now features a 64MP, f/1.79 compared to 48MP on Note 10. Other sensors are same though. It has an 8MP, f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor. The primary camera can record 4K videos at 30fps as well. For selfie, there is a 13MP, f/2.45 lens situated at dot style notch up at the front.
The device houses MediaTek Helio G95 gaming chip-set. It is based on 12nm manufacturing process, which is little outdated in 2021. Due to it, the phone might heat during prolonged gaming. The HyperEngine technology on G95 ensures smooth gaming on the phone. Note 10s comes in two RAM/ROM variants in Nepal, 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB.
