Xiaomi Nepal finally unveils it’s newest device in Note lineup, Redmi Note 10. The note series has been the most successful lineup so far for the company, and Note 10 is here to take it seriously. The device features Super AMOLED display, first in the Note series. Impressive features and good pricing makes the phone one of the best smartphone in the price segment. Redmi Note 10 Overview
Design & Display
The design is fresh and unique this year as well. We get gradient finish on the back, which comes in three color options as frost white, shadow black and aqua green. The camera module looks similar in all the models, that comprises of quad cameras.
The major highlight this year is the use of good quality display. It has got 6.43″ Super AMOLED FHD+ display. The brightness can go up to 1100 nits. For a phone of this price, AMOLED display was just rare. Despite having regular 60Hz display, it should offer good contrast and quality viewing experience. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects the display against minor drops and scratches.
Performance
Ditching the MediaTek this year, Redmi Note 10 offers new Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 processor. It is an octa-core processor built on 11nm manufacturing process. The overall Antutu score for the CPU is around 210K, which on paper makes it better option than previously used MediaTek Helio G85. While the phone may do good in terms of overall performance, we’ll have to see it in our full review if you can game better on the device or not.
The storage options we get here is 4GB/6GB RAM with 64GB/128GB combination. It can be expanded via microSD card as well.
Camera
The camera hardware this year gets update too. It has quad camera setup with 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor,
8MP ultra-wide and FOV 118°, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor. It supports super slow motion videos at 720p at 960fps. The front camera features a 13MP selfie shooter, situated at punch-hole cutout up at the front.
Other Features
Redmi Note 10 features the same 5000mAh battery. It has faster 33W charging support with USB Type-C port. The fingerprint scanner is situated at the side of the phone. It runs on Android 11 based on MIUI 12. The phone even has IP53 water/dust resistance. Dual stereo speakers in this price range is a welcome feature as well. So overall, it is a feature-rich phone that doesn’t hurt your wallet.
