Redmi 9 Prime Overview
The design is same as Redmi 9, with plastic back and plastic frame. You get four color options, Space Blue, Mint Green, Matte Black, Sunrise Flare.
The display on the phone is 6.53″ FHD+ IPS LCD display with 60Hz refresh rate. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection as well.
For performance, we get MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, which is an octa-core processor based on 12nm process. There is Mali-G52 MC2 as GPU. As for RAM/ROM combination, we get 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB ROM combo.
There is quad-camera setup with 13MP + 8MP(ultra-wide) + 5MP(macro) + 2MP (depth) combination. As for selfie camera, we get 8MP front facing camera.
There is 5020mAh battery with 18W USB Type-C fast charging on top. For security, we get a fingerprint scanner at back. The phone comes with Android 10 out of the box, with MIUI 12 as UI. The phone also has water repellant coating to keep minor splashes of water and dust away from the phone.
