Realme had launched its new phone Realme X2 and Realme Buds Air together in India on the 17th of December 2019. With the launch of Realme Buds Air, Realme has launched its first truly wireless earbuds. The market for wireless earbuds is very hot right now, wireless earbuds have become a trend.  Although most wireless earbuds are on the expensive side, Realme’s Buds Air is affordable with some good features.

Realme Buds Air: Overview

The Buds Air looks just like Apple’s AirPods with its minimalistic design. It comes in three different colors: Yellow, Black, and White. Buds Air comes with a wireless charging case that works with Qi-compatible pads. Just like the buds, the case is also made up of plastic and is compact and solid. It also has a button and an LED light. If you want to connect your Buds Air to any Bluetooth device all you need to do is open the top of the case and press the button.

The earbuds are powered by an R1 chipset and have Bluetooth 5.0 and Super Latency Mode. For the price tag the Realme Buds Air sounds good, it is somewhat crisp. There is a 12mm bass booster. So, the bass is good and the vocals also come out clear. The buds have a touch-sensitive button for multiple commands. You can double-tap to pause the track or answer a call, triple tap to skip to next song. Pressing both buds for two seconds takes you to gaming mode. There are two microphones in each bud, where, one is for conversations and the other for noise canceling. The Realme Buds Air case has a 400 mAh battery which helps expand the 3 hours battery life to 17 hours.

It is priced at $60. Realme Buds Air hasn’t been officially launched in Nepal. In Nepal, it costs around NPR. 7500 and is available through various unofficial channels.
