Oppo has revealed its latest mid-range phone, whose specs look like an entry-level performer: Oppo A52. The price seems so unrealistic considering current market competitors like Redmi Note 10 offering far better specs for much less price. Overview

The back of the device is made of plastic with gradient finish. The back camera module looks somewhat similar to Vivo V20. There is oppo branding on the back. So, the back cover looks minimalistic to be honest.

Display & Performance

Display used here is 6.51″ HD+ display with regular 60Hz refresh rate and 120Hz TSR. It has got 20:9 tall aspect ratio. The choice of display tech here is confusing as other Oppo phones has provided 90Hz display in the same price segment.

In terms of performance, we get underwhelming MediaTek Helio P35 processor. The use of a 3 year old chip inside a sub-25k price point is not so exciting, specially considering the competition. As of storage, we get 4GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage configuration.

Camera & Other Features

The device features triple rear camera setup on the back, featuring 13MP primary lens, along with 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensors, which are rarely a feature but gimmick. Along the front, we get 16MP selfie shooter in punch-hole cutout at the front.

A plus point for the phone is its 5000mAh battery. It supports 18W quick charge via USB Type-C port. Other features include IPX4 splash resistance, side mounted fingerprint scanner for security and 3.5mm headphone jack.
