Soon after unveiling Nokia C3, Nokia has launched Nokia 2.4 with a large screen and a big battery. The company has filled up the areas that were vacant in Nokia phones in the entry-level market. With the promise of upgrading the phone to Android 11 & 12, HMD Global has got the phone right on almost every aspect for that price of under 15,000 in Nepal. Nokia 2.4 is built sturdy with metal frame and polycarbonate back, meaning plastic. Yes, it’s not metal but in terms of durability and price point, it’s not that bad. After all, minor drops won’t damage your phone with plastic body aesthetically as much as metal ones. The plastic back has 3D nano texture, making the phone grippy to hold.

The phone comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. Storage size maybe a problem for some users but you can expand it via microSD card. So, no worries here.

The phone sports a large 4500mAh battery to keep you going all day long, or more. With lower resolution display and less power consuming chip-set, you will easily get around 1 day of battery life or 2 days on low usage.

The company included a fingerprint scanner and face unlock feature, but personally I would use fingerprint unlock more as it is faster and safer option. In terms of other features, Nokia 2.4 comes with Bluetooth 5.0, FM Radio and GPS as well. However, the phone doesn’t have a splash-resistant design. So, you might want to keep the device away from moisture.
