Nepal Telecom, a state-owned telecommunication service provider, has recently introduced a package to enable the teaching-learning experience. It has launched the e-Shiksha Package to enable teachers and students to connect by conducting online classes. The pandemic has hampered our educational routine. Despite the pandemic affecting the traditional learning methodology, it is getting adapted through online mediums. To help facilitate these online classes, Nepal telecom has brought its e-Shiksha Package on data.
About the e-Shiksha Package:
e-Shiksha is a Large Data Pack that works in all networks (2G/3G/4G). Students and teachers who have Nepal Telecom’s mobile numbers are eligible to purchase this pack.
The offers available in this pack are:
- 6GB Data, which is available at the price of Rs.260. 3GB out of the 6GB data is available at all times while the remaining 3GB is available at a specific time from 5 am-10 am.
- 15GB Data which is available at the price of Rs.500. Here, 9GB all time of the 15GB is available at all times whereas the 6GB is available from 5 am-10 am.
The data pack is valid for 28 days since the time of its purchase.
How to subscribe to e-Shiksha Package?
An official letter needs to be sent from your School or College to firstname.lastname@example.org. The letter should contain the name and mobile number of students and faculties. Once the letter is received by Nepal Telecom, it will send an SMS to those people who are eligible to subscribe to this data package. To subscribe to e-Shiksha Package Dial *1441# and select the pack you want to purchase.
